Thank you for registering your child for the Hartnell Little League 2024 Spring Baseball Season!

REGISTRATION:

The Hartnell Little League registration process has been streamlined and is now being conducted in two steps:

1. Online Player Registration: Create an account, or login to your existing account. Complete the simplified online player registration including payment of registration fees.

2. Complete Forms and Drop Off: After you register online, complete and deliver the following forms and documents at a drop-off event.

a. Copy of Birth Certificate

b. Completed Player Registration Form

c. Completed Medical Release Form

d. Either

i. Completed School Enrollment Form (You and School Administration must complete)

OR

ii. Proof-of-Residency Documents (You must provide one document from each of the 3 Groups described here)

Drop Offs: We have scheduled two Drop-Off Events at the Pizza Factory at 926 S. Main Street:

Saturday, January 13, 2024, between 12:00pm and 2:00 p.m.

Tuesday, January 16, 2024, between 5:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.

TRYOUTS: Registration must be completed prior to Tryouts.

Tryout Eligibility: To be eligible to tryout, the simplified Online Registration must be completed, and the completed Medical Release must be turned in.

Nine through twelve-year-old registrants are REQUIRED to participate in one tryout session.

Eight-year-old registrants are encouraged to participate in one of the tryouts prior to the commencement of the season, however, it is NOT mandatory.

Hartnell Little League baseball was established in 1961 and is a 501c3 non-profit organization. We provide youth baseball opportunities to nearly 300 Salinas children ranging from 4-12 years of age. We operate solely on volunteers, registration fees, fundraising and sponsorships. To our past sponsors, please accept our sincere gratitude. For those who are potential future sponsors, we thank you for taking the time in considering to be a part of our Hartnell Little League Family.
Little League was founded in 1939 in Williamsport, Pennsylvania by Carl Stotz. When he saw the neighborhood kids bickering over the rules while playing baseball in the local “sandlot”, the idea was born! He, along with his wife Grayce, organized the neighborhood children to play baseball based on three core values...Character, Courage and Loyalty. More than 80 years later, little league still believes in and continues to teach these principles and Hartnell LL is no different. The Hartnell Little League Board of Directors is dedicated to continue to give this opportunity to the youth of Salinas today and for another 80 years in the future.
Your sponsorship will go directly back to our local Salinas youth. It will help pay for uniforms, equipment, insurance, fees and continued field and facility maintenance and improvements. With your support we will realize our goal in making a positive impact in the lives of countless young baseball players.
